With it's super long title this harem got pretty big. So this anime follows a guy who doesn't beleive in peer company, has no friends, and generally cannot be noticed, nor remebered, by anyone. His name is Hikigaya-kun. This guy was hit by a car the first day of his 2nd highschool year trying to save a dog. So he doesn't beleive in youth. This is a story about him, forced to be in it, and two other girls in the service club.
So this anime wasn't all that it could be but wasn't that bad. It wasn't like normal harems where the girls fawn over the clearly not cute anime guy, until he goes ghoul mode and you have your first anime/manga crush *cough* *cough* ignore that, so anyway. They don't fawn over him like that, which made it rather enjoyable and more for a female audience rather than a male audience. By the way, only two girls, but I think it is still classified as a harem. Just look at KissxSis. Actually, scratch that, DON'T look at that. That is everything that I hate in harem and more. Someone said, watch this scene, so I watched it, and never wanted to watch another harem anime again. Gosh.
Anyway, so what I thought really could have been better would be the background of the characters. Like we don't know why Hikki acts the way he does. We don't know the real connection between Yukinoshita, and her older sister and what their problem is. Nor do we know Hayama's background with Yukinoshita. It's extremely annoying. So all you really do is follow them figuring out the puppy problem and then going around being tsunderes. Three tsunderes does NOT make a good love triangle. But, looky, looky, this thing, I think, wasn't a very romantic anime. Which I see irony in because of the title.
And so, it's good-ish, but I'd rather read the manga because maybe it goes into back story more. But then again, love triangles always piss off the readers because sometimes, and most times, you want the other one to get the guy/girl. Annoying.
And one more thing. There names are ridiculous.
